How We Work: The “Smoothing Out” Principle

We know that some months you may have more requests than others. Instead of worrying about fluctuating costs, we approach work by “smoothing out” volume over a period of time.

  • Unlimited Requests: Clients on the Scaling (Proactive) tier may submit unlimited requests.
  • Balancing Load: If your average time significantly exceeds the plan, we won’t penalize you immediately. We will either recommend scaling to a higher tier or spread the work out over multiple sprints to maintain quality.
  • Small Tasks Included: Requests under $500 are often absorbed into the current sprint without formal quoting, keeping you agile.
Adhoc & Retainer Terms
  • Exclusivity: Adhoc services are exclusively available to clients on an active agile retainer plan.
  • Rollover Credits: If you use less budget than your monthly baseline, the unused balance is credited to the following month (valid for one billing cycle).
  • Tax Deductible: We are Aussies, so our services are tax-deductible.

All agile plans are paid monthly in advance. There are no long-term lock-in contracts; you can change your plan anytime to suit your business flow, giving you total budget control.

We believe in maintaining momentum. If less time or budget is used than your monthly baseline, the unused balance is credited to the following month. These credits remain valid for one billing cycle.

To ensure quality and availability, ad-hoc services are exclusively available to clients on an active agile retainer. We do not offer standalone ad-hoc work outside of these agreements.

We use a “smoothing out” principle. You can submit unlimited requests, and we prioritise them within your sprint cycles. If requests consistently exceed your tier’s capacity, we will balance the work over time or discuss scaling your tier.
